No other product in the dietary supplement industry has made as big as a splash as Creatine Monohydrate, back in the early 90’s. Though only popular in the last 10-15 years, Creatine Monohydrate was discovered back in the 1830’s, and about 50 years later was studied to find the effects on muscle biology.
Creatine is a natural occurring substance; we all naturally create this substance within our bodies. Our liver, kidneys, and pancreases produce creatine and it is then transported to the muscle tissue. Here it is converted to creatine phosphate another natural metabolite that will rapidly convert ADP back into its high energy form ATP, and ultimately into ATP. ATP is the powerful metabolite that is used by the muscle for energy and supplies power to the muscle to explosively contract.
True Protein carries a Creatine Monohydrate that is of a very fine mesh (small particle size). This leads to easier mixing and consumption. This product does not fully dissolve, but since it is of a fine mesh, it easy suspends in any type of fluid.
Creatine monohydrate should always be taken with some type of high glycemic carb, for optimal absorption. Ingredients: Creatine Monohydrate.
Directions: As a dietary supplement during the product loading stages, take 5g of material before exercise and 5g of material after exercise along with a carbohydrate source for the first five days of use. Starting with the sixth day, take 5g of material after exercise along with a carbohydrate source. This material must be cycled, and should not be used for more than twelve consecutive weeks.
